Just a Little Update....

Well, I had my monthly OB appointment on Thursday (4/30). And I found out that I am a week off on how far along I am. So, I am actually 27 weeks & 6 days. I will turn 28 weeks on Monday. I found out that Monday is my turnover date. Sooooo, on Monday 5/4 I will be 28 weeks, which will finally put me in my 1st week of my 3rd trimester. I am so super excited!!!! We also had our 1st of 2 prepared childbirth classes on Friday (5/1). It was very interesting, and of course of all days (when there is a room FULL of pregnant women) the air conditioning did not work in the room we were in!!! BLAH!!!! It was soooooo hot and stuffy, so finally at like 11:30 (when the class ended at 12:00) they brought in a fan. Ha......could you have waited any longer!!! LOL But, besides that.....it was very informative, and we have one more class to go. I am the only one in the class that is not past 30 weeks, so.....of course......I, once again, am the smallest in the class. Oh well!!! And, this past Sunday we went over to Josh & Nikki's for a BBQ.....we has soooo much fun!!!! I love just sittin around and talking and hanging out with them. We always find something to talk and laugh about!!!! They are super awsome friends, and I can't wait to see Lillie, and for all of us (including Gage, when he comes) to go and hang out with them. Its going to be great!!!!!! Thanks for having us over guys....we love ya bunches, and I hope that we can do it more often.

End of my 2nd Trimester 2morrow (4.22.09)- 27 wks

Ok.....i know that I don't write alot but, I always forget to do this. LOL Anyway.....as of tomorrow (4.22.09) I will be 27 weeks. The last week of my 2nd trimester. I cannot believe that I am at this point already!!! It feels like it is taking forever, but yet I cannot believe that I am already at this point!!! I am going to try to put some ultrasound pics up, but I am not sure if i quite know how to do it. For those of you who don't know, we have a full name now. His name is going to be GAGE RYAN GEHRIS. Thanks to Andy for the 1st name (go figure)...LOL!!! We are soooooo excited. We had the Labor & Delivery tour on Sunday at the Hospital (Lehigh Valley Hospital). It really wasn't what i expected, but i guess there really isn't much to it. We saw some newborn babies, and it was soooooo awesome. Andy told me that he was so excited that he had to hold back from crying, so he just giggled the whole time!!! LOL Its funny for me to see that or even hear him say that because, if you know andy, he is not like that at all. He is not one to show his feelings or emotions like that. Its just really nice to see him so excited!!! So.....I have my next OB appt on April 30th, and looking forward to it. And, of course i found out about my baby shower. I knew i would because the one planning it is my best friend and we talk everyday and see each other every week.....so it is hard to keep that from me;).....lol. It is going to be on Saturday, June 13th @ Cementon Park. I am helping her do things because she works full time and has a son of her own.....and everyone knows that i never have anything to do.....so this will at least occupy some of my time, hehe!!! I am registered at Babies 'R' Us & Target. Its going to be a great time of the year for b-day parties...... July!! It going to beautiful out!!!! Great b-day party weather. Oh.....and here is some REALLY GREAT NEWS!!!!! The mother-in-law is moving out in 10 days!!!!!!!!! There is a god!!! LOL Hip, Hip, Hurray for me........:)~ Ok everyone.....thats pretty much the update. I don't ever really have that much going on. Hopefully i wont forget to write more often. I hope everyone has a great day. And, congrats to all the girls from Nikki's blog that had their babies.......I cannot imagine how happy you are. They are all super beautiful...and again.......CONGRATS!!!!!!

Sooooo Happy....

Well everyone....here's the news!! IT'S A BOY!!!!!!! His name is going to be Gage. We are not sure of a middle name yet (if any), so when we figure that out, i will post it. Of course, Andy is SUPER excited!!! And, of course I am too!!!! We cannot wait to see our little dude!!! We have waiting sooooo long for this and it is finally here!!!! We have never wanted something so much in our lives yet, and it is finally happening!!!! I will try to post the ultrasound pics, but I am still not quite sure how to do it. Any tips?? Well, I will post soon again. Have a great one everyone;)

Oh, another thing:)
Can anyone help me with something.......I want to know why I am not showing at all yet?? I want to look pregnant!! LOL I know that sounds funny, but I do. So, when did everyone else start showing? And, any suggestions on when I will start?? ;)

Don't Go Here.....

So, Andy took his truck to Strauss Auto on MacArthur Rd to get the Belt squealing thing fixed plus get his truck inspected. Well, about 3-4 days after taking it there, we were going somewhere the other morning and started hearing a knocking noise like in the tires/brakes/tire rod section of the front end of the truck. Well, this is a fricken kicker let me tell ya!!!! As the day went on, it got worse......because I had the truck yesterday. I thought it might have been the breaks loose or something, well that def was not what it was!! Last night, on the way home from picking Andy up from work....it was just really bad. I has such a bad feeling and was so scared driving to pick him up. So, we pulled over on the way home cause I said that if felt like the wheels were loose or something. WELL......Andy pulled over to check it and guess what........THEY (Strauss auto) DID NOT TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS ON THE TIRES!!!!!!!! So, basically the tires could have fallen off at any point while driving!!!!! How terrible it this???? MORE THEN TERRIBLE!!!!! So many bad things could have happened that I don't even want to mention. Lets just say this is not the 1st time we got a car back from there and something else went wrong with it!!! SO......I am calling the corporate office on Monday and going to town with them.........THEY WILL REFUND OUR MONEY FOR BOTH VEHICLES THAT ARE MESSED UP!!!!! Plus, I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!!!! How could you even hand the keys over to a human being for there car if you didn't finish it!!!!! I am sooooo pissed, and believe me.....they will know it!!!!!! Anyone have any feedback?????? Let me know.........

There is a 1st time for everything.....

Well Hello everyone.......
I have decided to join the rest of the internet savey people and set up my own blog. I learned about it from my friend Nicole, who by the way is an amazing person.;) I chose my blog title 'One day @ a time......The Life of Something Perfect' because, for me.....everything is one day at a time, as well as.....I could not really want anything else right now. I have an absolutly amazing husband name Andy, who if it wasn't for him....I def would not be either here or where i am today. AND.....the big whopper is that I am FINALLY expecting our long awaited baby!!!! We tried for about 5 years right down to the month, when I found out I was pregnant!!! This could not have been a happier day in my life other then when I married my soul mate! We could not be happier and more excited about it!! I am a 27 year old who still has not found her path in the career world, but.....Im sure it will hopefully come soon? My husband on the other hand is exactly right where he wants to be. He is a full time profressional body piercer at Imperial Tattoo Parlor in Bethlehem, Pa. That was and is is life long dream to work in this field, and 3 years ago he def got what he wanted. Of course his ultimate dream is to own his body modification shop.....but, that is def something we are working hard towards.

Anyway.....I have my 15 week appt at the OB on the 5th which is actully Andy's birthday.....SO.....we are hoping that we can find out the sex of the baby. (Im keeping my fingers crossed). I, of course want a girl, and of course Andy wants a boy. Well, we will just have to see who wins that battle!! LOL

My one day at a time thing, is just my stepping stone for my sobriety. If you know me, you know my situation, which suprizingly has been easy for me because I was ready to be done with the childish crap!! Again, if it wasn't for Andy......i probley would have just said F it and kept going for the hell of it. But, going one day at a time def works......and if you wait long enough, you get what you want!!

Well, I will have to just try to keep up with all this blog stuff since i am new at it;) I will let eveyone know the verdict on everything. Thanks to everyone, and talk to you all soon.........
